Pythagoras is the father of numerology and the man to
whom a great debt is owed regarding the accuracy, truthfulness,
and science behind the NumerologyNow Report(s). Pythagoras
understood the trinity of nature to be represented by God, the universe
and man. He sought to prove unity and harmony in all things. He
also believed that the key to understanding our lives and our relationship
to this Earth were to be found in the science of numbers. By virtue
of his unique study of mathematics and its relationship to the harmonics
of life, he is often considered the world's first scientist.
As he came to understand and explain the ebbs and flows
of life, sometimes referred to as Karma and Dharma, he is thought
by many to be the father of modern metaphysical thought. He coined
the word "Philosopher" and many believe him to be the
founder of modern Philosophy.
The search for truth and knowledge asserted itself early
in the life of Pythagoras and his passion for learning translated
across many cultural barriers. Not only did Pythagoras study with
the best scholars in Greece, but he also traveled to far lands to
study with the Egyptians, Chaldeans, Phoenicians, the Persians,
the Hindus, the Arabians, and the Jews. His travels and studies
went on for nearly thirty-six years. During which time, he made
contact with every major culture and center of learning known at
the time.
Finally, in his 56th year, his travels came to an end
and he settled in Italy where he formed a school to share his knowledge.
According to Pythagoras, religion and science were not mutually
exclusive, but rather depended upon one another. To Pythagoras,
the universe was the ultimate source of beauty, harmony, and understanding.
His interpretation of the universe through numbers as a place of
supreme harmony between the natural, the human, and the divine,
has provided generations of scholars with a foundation upon which
to build their explorations of life.
And, it has provided us with the basis for your NumerologyNow
